MAP OF THE GRANDSTANDS

The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has a variety of grandstands for spectators to choose from, each providing a distinct view and experience of the race. All grandstands have a large TV screen and one of them is covered.

General Admission (GA) tickets are also available at the circuit. GA tickets grant spectators access to a reserved area without assigned seating. Note that these tickets are usually cheaper than standard tickets.

Grandstand 1 (Main Straight)

Positioned directly across from the F1 pit lane and garages, Grandstand 1 places you at the epicentre of the excitement! You can witness the cars heading out onto the track and experience the electrifying roar of the start, all unfolding right in front of you.

Grandstand Platine (T1)

The Platine Grandstand is situated within the circuit, adjacent to the straightaway that runs from the starting grid to the entrance of the Senna curve. This location offers spectators a close-up view of the race. The grandstand features spacious, comfortable seating and is covered, providing protection from the elements.

Grandstand 11

Situated in the Senna zone, this vantage point offers an exceptional view of Turns 1 and 2. Spectators can also observe drivers rejoining the race as they exit the pit lane. Additionally, it's the perfect spot to catch all the excitement immediately following the start.

Grandstand 12 places you right in the midst of the action at turns 1 and 2, as well as the ascent to turn 3. Directly in front of you, you can also see drivers reentering the track after exiting the pit lane.

Grandstand 15 provides an excellent view of one of the prime overtaking locations on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. It is one of the most popular spots so we advise you to buy a ticket for this grandstand as soon as possible.

Grandstand 21

Grandstand 21, the first in the hairpin section, offers a view of the heavy braking zone and the famous overtaking spot where Robert Kubica crashed in 2007. This area is lively with numerous surrounding grandstands and guarantees action.

Grandstand 24 (Lance Stroll Grandstand)

This grandstand provides a clear view of the cars navigating the iconic hairpin turn. You'll see them tackle the right-hand turn at the hairpin before accelerating through the gentle left turn 11, heading toward Casino Straight.

This grandstand offers you a view of the right-left combination of turns 8 and 9. Before your eyes, breaking from 300 to 120 kph, certain Formula 1 drivers can try an overtaking manoeuvre, miss their breaking point and end up off track.

Grandstand 33 (Family Grandstand)

This grandstand provides a vantage point for drivers navigating the left-right sequence of turns 6 and 7 at approximately 100 kph. Children 11 and under can enjoy a discounted entry when accompanied by an adult.

Situated at the eastern end of the track, Grandstand 34 offers prime views of the "Hairpin." From your left, cars speed down the track at almost 300 kph, navigate the corner at 85 kph, and then accelerate toward Casino Straight on your right. General Admission (GA) tickets at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve offer spectators access to various spectator areas around the circuit without reserved seating. GA tickets allow for flexibility, so you can move around the circuit throughout the day and explore different vantage points.

You can choose to watch the action from three different locations, depending on what suits you and the view you want to experience: the first one is located near Turn 6 (inside), the second one can be found before Turn 10/the hairpin section (outside), meanwhile, the third one is placed near Turn 11 (outside).
